 Hey guys i'm back with another blog. Today I will be sharing with you another create I've done for my Novel Study slides. I've been reading The Book Thief and each week I've been doing tasks on it. Hey guys i'm back with another blog. Today I will be showing you my create for Reading. What we had to do was go through a slide show and read through some texts and write down positive and negative parts from the text. We used the fantastics  again this week, we used to write positive and negative depending on what fantastic it was. Then after that we had to make a book review ans put in positive and negative.

Our goal was " Synthesising-think while reading, pick up new information, and come up with new ideas and new thinking". Synthesising means to change your thinking while the text is evolving. I read Green Eggs and Ham, The Lorax, and The Wizard and the Hopping Pot. After we read three books we had to choose a create task to make for each of them from a bunch of different create tasks. Reading Create Task W7

Hey guys i'm back with another blog. Today I will be showing you my create task for my reading this week. Our goal was " Independently predict, interpret and analyse text, 'reading between the lines' to gain a deeper meaning". What we had to do was choose a video to watch, and watch a little bit of the beginning then make some predictions about the video, then as we watched the video we had to write down some things we found by reading through the lines. Our goal was "  Use questions to challenge the text, question the author and establish the authenticity of the text ". What we had to do was choose a text to read I read about the Mandela effect. Hey guys i'm back with another blog. Today I will be showing you my create Task for reading. My goal was " Make predictions about the text. Look for clues to confirm predictions ". What we had to do was Read a text about predicting then choose a story to read. But we couldn't read it yet. We had to make a google drawing or doc and we had to look at the cover and the title and predict what the story could be about. Here's what I did for that task:

hey guys i'm back with another blog. Today I will be showing you my create task for reading. Our goal was ' Use knowledge from text to combine with new ideas (own and others) to come up with new thinking, and make connections between other texts and general knowledge to expand meaning and pose questions, using more sophisticated texts'. What we had to do was read a bunch of texts then fill in a reading response on google drawings. After we did that we had to make our create task. We had to make an infographic and get our learning from the reading response and include it in our infographic. Here's mine:

Reading Create Task Week 7

Hey guys i'm back with another blog. Today I will be telling you about my reading create task! Our goal was decode texts automatically and independently, and can use a range of strategies, such as inferring, to work out more complex words". We had to read a text about the treaty of Waitangi, and choose a word that we didn't know what it meant. After you found your word you had to go onto a doc and put on the paragraph where we found the word, then we had to write down what we think it means from reading the paragraph and look at the words around it and think about what it could mean.
