Maths Create Task W7

Hey guys i'm back with another blog. Today I will be sharing with you my create Task for maths this week. Our goal was "Use an efficient strategy to solve a broad range of strategies to solve multiplication and division problems with whole numbers & decimals". What we had to do was answer some questions and use different types of strategy to work them out. After that we had to make a video of us explaining two o the questions. Here's mine:

Writing Create Task W7

Hey guys i'm back with another blog. Today I will be sharing with you my create for writing this week. Our goal was " Use a variety of sentences structures, beginnings and lengths to give effect". What we had to was look at how to structure narratives and then plan out our narrative to write. Here's mine:

Reading Create Task W7

Hey guys i'm back with another blog. Today I will be showing you my create task for my reading this week. Our goal was " Independently predict, interpret and analyse text, 'reading between the lines' to gain a deeper meaning". What we had to do was choose a video to watch, and watch a little bit of the beginning then make some predictions about the video, then as we watched the video we had to write down some things we found by reading through the lines. Hey guys i'm back with another blog. Today I will telling you about my maths create task. Our goal was "Collect and display data on a scatter graph. Hey guys i'm back with another blog. Today I will be showing my create task for writing. What we had to do was watch some videos about narratives then choose a picture to write a story about. I wrote a bout a zombie apocalypse and  a girl being left behind. Here's my create task.

Writing Create W4 T2

Hey guys i'm back with another blog. Today I will be showing you my create task for writing. My goal was " Select words and phrases to enhance meaning and/or mood and confidently shape ideas for effect". What we had to do was watch videos on poems and how to write them and learn about different types of poems. Then for our create we had to write a Diamante poem (which is a poem that doesn't rhyme and has 7 lines), and then choose a different type of poem to write. I wrote a Diamante poem about the Earth and the Sea, and I wrote a Shape poem also called a Concrete poem about love. Here's mine:

Reading Create Task W4 T2

Hey guys i'm back with another blog. Today I will be showing you my create Task for reading. My goal was " Make predictions about the text. Look for clues to confirm predictions ". What we had to do was Read a text about predicting then choose a story to read. But we couldn't read it yet. We had to make a google drawing or doc and we had to look at the cover and the title and predict what the story could be about. Here's what I did for that task:

Maths Create Task W4 T2

Hey guys i'm back with another blog. Today I will be showing you my create task for maths. Our goal was "Use more than one way to find a theoretical probability" and " Make sensible statements about information with reference to supporting". What we had to do was watch some videos about probability. Then do a quiz about it. For our create we had to use a random wheel generator to make a wheel that when you click it it spins and randomly chooses something you could do in quarantine. Then we had to count how many times the wheel landed on one of the activities. With the information from that we had to make a tally chart. Here's mine:
