They got there name from King Charles the II, and they sat next to Queen Victoria. King Charles Cavaliers can be many different colours, they can be Black and tan, Blenheim, Tri - Colour, and Ruby. Here's what different colours they look like:

Egyptian Pyramids

Hey guys i'm back with another blog! In this blog i'm going to talk about Egypt! I am going to speak about Egypt because I find that Egypt is a very interesting country to learn about, especially since we are in lock down and we have so much extra time.

Egypt is an Arabic speaking nation located in the north-eastern African continent. Known for its vast, desserts and rich cultural history, notable sites include the great pyramid of Giza, the Nile river, and Cairo. The monuments that still stand in Egypt date back to at least 2500 BC. The oldest monument in Egypt is the great pyramid of Giza which was completed around 2580 BC.
Pharaoh Khufu built the great pyramid of Giza. It was the first and largest pyramid. His pyramid now stands 455 feet tall (138 Metres). Other amazing monuments like the pyramids are The great Sphinx of Giza, Abu Simble Temples, First Pylon, Temple of Debod, KV17, Egyptian Renaissance, Luxor Obelisk, and the complex Qurqumas. All of these monuments are very old like the pyramids. Some people believe that the pyramids were made by extra terrestrials. They think this because the hewn stones they used weighed at least two tons each. And with cranes we have today, this task is still an impossible challenge.

~ Bonus Facts ~

- The Egyptians invented the 365 day calendar.
- The world's oldest dress was found there. 5000 years old.
- Every city had there favourite God during the ancient times.
- Egypt has the world's largest dam.
- Egypt has more then 3451 hours of sun a year.
- The pyramids were once white.

What do you know about Egypt? Have you ever been to Egypt?

Hey guys i'm back with another blog. Today I will be telling you about my reading create task! Our goal was decode texts automatically and independently, and can use a range of strategies, such as inferring, to work out more complex words". We had to read a text about the treaty of Waitangi, and choose a word that we didn't know what it meant. After you found your word you had to go onto a doc and put on the paragraph where we found the word, then we had to write down what we think it means from reading the paragraph and look at the words around it and think about what it could mean. Here's my create task:

Anyway that's it for today bye!

Communication - PBL - Week 5

Hey guys i'm back with another blog. And today I will be talking about communication. In my fair group we have shown communication through talking to each other about our project and figuring out how we were going to do things. Here our some questions that I have answered:

How are you communicating through your PBL group?
- We have communicated by talking to each other about what we are going to do and how we are going to run the game.
Do people in your group communicate differently? How might this affect your groups dynamics?
- Some people in my group don't like to talk to each other or not even want to sit with us. But we do end up talking to each other and are able to work out a few things.
Why might effective communication be important for your PBL kid zone?
- It should be important because if your working at the same time as someone else in your group and your together at the same time  then you need to talk to them for who's going to take the next customer so there is no fighting and no mix up.
What does effective communication look like in your group?
- For my group effective communication looks like us sitting in a group working open our Chromebooks and if one of us are stuck on the part that they are doing then someone else helps them. My group does need to practise on our communication because most of the time it's just fighting.

Anyway that's it for today bye!

Creativity PBL Week 5

Hey guys i'm back with a new blog today. Today I will be showing you the creativity task for this week. What we had to do was either write 100 things you can do with a paper clip or shape saga where you had to make things out of shapes. Here's what my group did for the paper clip one:

Here's what I did for the shape saga:

After we did that we had to do a reflection here's mine:

What kind of thinker am I?
- I think that I am a creative thinker because I always have visuals in my head of what I am going to do or make.
What creative thinking skills do I have and which could I work on and why?
-  I think that I am a originality which is a unique idea thinker. I think this because i always have weird interesting ideas. I think that I can work on fluency which is a number of ideas because usually I only have 1 or 2 ideas.
What aspects or creative thinking do I find the hardest?
- I think that I find making things happen and planning them out the hardest.
Anyway that's it for today guys bye!

Have you ever done something like this? Could you answer these questions?

Collaboration PBL Week 5

Hey guys i'm back with a new blog today and I will be telling you about how my fair group has been doing a lot of collaboration. One main point that we have worked on well together is - Make important decisions that take into consideration and the mutual benefit of the group. What my group is making is something called basketball toss, it's a wooden frame with a tyre hanging down from it. Then people will throw a basketball through the tyre. We could focus on a few more things like listening to each other, thinking more with a few things. I think that our main goal is to work as a group together better and stop fighting about things. Anyway that's it for today bye!

Have you ever built a game like this? Have you been in a group before?
