Blurb

Hey guys i'm back with a new blog! Around two weeks ago I made a summary ( but I called it a blurb). I did a blurb on my reading book called Fair Chocolate 🍫. It was fun to read and write about, probably because it was mouth watering 🤤🤤mmm. In the book I learnt what a fair trade company is (i'll get to that later) and how the cocoa beans are made and lot's more! Fair trade is where company's  pay their workers the right amount of money. Unlike cadburys they cut down tree's where animal's live and pay their workers less then they deserve. On the second page they talked about how the cocoa beans are made. They said that they come from a little pouch that looks like it's a rugby ball because their's ridges on it. So that's some of what I wrote in my blurb. Bye!!!

I wonder how much money would it cost to start a chocolate factory?

#ChooseKind T shirt

For my wonder T shirt I did one with my buddy on Friday we did bubble writing saying ‘#ChooseKind’ on the front it was yellow then on the back it had butterflies with a rainbow background. Now I am working on another one on a google drawing. It is going to have a red galaxy background with black short sleeves and graffiti writing on the front. On the back it is going to have a kindness quote and a black background. With a cartoon picture of people showing kindness. I learnt how to change a colour of a picture without searching for that picture.

I wonder if my T shirt is going to get chosen?

Biography

Last week I finished my biography on J.K. Rowling. Everyone did a biography on someone. We had to choose someone who we thought was great. I was going to choose Anne Frank but instead I did J.K Rowling. I thought J.K Rowling was great because without her we wouldn't have Harry Potter or stories of his adventures. I learnt a lot about her like her full name is Joanne Kathleen Rowling. I also learned that she uses her initials because she doesn't have a middle according to her birth certificate. So she took her grandmother's name Kathleen and that’s the K in J.K. Rowling.

I wonder why J.K. Rowling's books are so popular?

Swimming Lessons

In swimming lessons I was in the middle group in the big pool. We did lots of freestyle and a little bit of breaststroke. We sometimes did caterpillar at the end. Me and Sophie were allowed to do a handstand competition sometimes for fun at the end of the lesson. I learnt to stay on my shoulder when I breathe and that my feet always have to be kicking.

I wonder if I can get into the top group next time?

Can you do a handstand in the water? If so for how long?
