Egyptian Pyramids

Hey guys i'm back with another blog! In this blog i'm going to talk about Egypt! I am going to speak about Egypt because I find that Egypt is a very interesting country to learn about, especially since we are in lock down and we have so much extra time.

Egypt is an Arabic speaking nation located in the north-eastern African continent. Known for its vast, desserts and rich cultural history, notable sites include the great pyramid of Giza, the Nile river, and Cairo. The monuments that still stand in Egypt date back to at least 2500 BC. The oldest monument in Egypt is the great pyramid of Giza which was completed around 2580 BC.
Pharaoh Khufu built the great pyramid of Giza. It was the first and largest pyramid. His pyramid now stands 455 feet tall (138 Metres). Other amazing monuments like the pyramids are The great Sphinx of Giza, Abu Simble Temples, First Pylon, Temple of Debod, KV17, Egyptian Renaissance, Luxor Obelisk, and the complex Qurqumas. All of these monuments are very old like the pyramids. Some people believe that the pyramids were made by extra terrestrials. They think this because the hewn stones they used weighed at least two tons each. And with cranes we have today, this task is still an impossible challenge.

~ Bonus Facts ~
