Volunteering
Hey guys today I will be telling you about the volunteering! So for volunteering we had to fill out a google form. In the google form we had to put down what type of volunteering we wanted to do. We could choose from Graffiti removal, Curtain bank volunteering and food bank. I got put into a curtain bank group. When it was my turn to go we took the van. When we got there, there was a lady named Gail. She showed us what we were going to do at the curtain bank and why we give away curtains to people. We were in groups of three, there was one two people measuring and one person writing and bagging. I was on writing and bagging first. We probably did 10 or 20 groups of curtains. How we sorted out the curtains was we got curtains and if they had another group of curtains that matched then we would measure them then write down the measuring and if they were damaged we would write down on the paper if they were. After we did that we folded them and bagged then in a bag. Then we got tape and taped it shut and wrote the measurements of what they a]were and stuck it on the seam of the bag. Then we stacked them on a chair. Anyway that was basically it. So that's what volunteering at a curtain bank is like. It's actually really fun! Bye.
